Managing Company Information

Overview
This guide walks you through updating your business profile, including company name, contact details, and legal information in GlassJar.

Steps to Update Company Info:

  1. Sign in to your GlassJar account.
  2. Select the Gear icon in the upper right.
  3. Choose Company Settings.
  4. Go to the Business Profile section.
  5. Select Edit next to the detail you want to update.
  6. Make your changes and select Save.

Tips:

  • Keep your legal name and business address up-to-date for tax forms and official records.
  • Changes take effect immediately across all connected features.

Resetting Your Password or Login Credentials

Overview
Learn how to recover your account or change your login credentials securely.

To Reset Your Password:

  1. On the sign-in page, select Forgot Password?
  2. Enter the email address linked to your account.
  3. Check your inbox and follow the link to set a new password.

To Change Your Password While Logged In:

  1. Select your user icon in the top right corner.
  2. Choose My Profile > Security Settings.
  3. Select Change Password and follow the prompts.

Security Tip:
Use a unique password that includes letters, numbers, and symbols for increased protection.


Securing Your Account

Overview
Protect your financial data by enabling extra security measures in your account.

Steps to Enable Two-Step Verification:

  1. Go to My Profile > Security Settings.
  2. Toggle on Two-Step Verification.
  3. Choose your verification method (email, SMS, or authenticator app).
  4. Follow prompts to verify your method.

Best Practices:

  • Avoid sharing login credentials.
  • Regularly review login activity from the Recent Activity section.
  • Enable alerts for unfamiliar logins.

Managing Your Subscription

Overview
This article explains how to view your subscription status, update billing information, and change your plan.

Steps to View or Update Your Plan:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing & Subscription.
  2. View your current plan and renewal date.
  3. To make changes, select Manage Subscription.
  4. Follow prompts to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription.

Billing Info Update:

  • Select Edit Payment Method to update card details.
  • All changes apply starting from the next billing cycle.

Adding and Managing Users

Overview
Grant team members access to your account and control their permissions.

To Add a New User:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Users & Permissions.
  2. Select Add User.
  3. Enter the user’s name and email address.
  4. Choose their access level (Admin, Standard, or Custom).
  5. Select Send Invite.

Managing Existing Users:

  • To update permissions, select the user and choose Edit.
  • To remove a user, select Delete.

Note: Only administrators can add or remove users.
